Who We Are

The Rochester Somali Community Center (RSCC) is an immigrant-led And minority-run organization founded in 2023. Our Mission is to Provide consistently excellent and accessible service To Somali community in Rochester Minnesota Area. We strengthen them by developing their capability to be self-sufficient and productive as they embrace a fresh start in the U.S The Rochester Somali Community Center (RSCC) has been Rochester Minnesota’s go-to agency serving Minnesota’s Somali community. We provide services aimed at promoting and building self-sufficiency and equity in Minnesota. Our primary purpose is to help Somali youth and families overcome the social and economic obstacles that impede growth while maintaining our cultural heritage. (RSCC)’s youth programming helps Somali youth, whether they were born here or arrived this year. Through cooperation and collaboration with our partners and sponsors, we help connect individuals with wraparound resources and assistance on: housing, jobs and training, health services, legal advice, domestic services, immigration assistance and more. (RSCC) is a nonprofit charitable organization registered with the IRS as a 501(c)(3) organization.
