A Breath of Hope Lung Foundation

In 2007, a small group of lung cancer patients, along with committed family members who met at a local support group, came together to host the first Twin Cities Lung Run/Walk. The success of this event led to the formation of this public charity, A Breath of Hope Lung Foundation in August of 2008. Thanks to a talented and committed volunteer board of directors and the addition of professional staff beginning in 2012, A Breath of Hope Lung Foundation has grown steadily and has invested nearly $3 million in lung cancer research. Our vision is to eventually have a lung cancer cure for all lung cancer patients.
