

Who We Are
Ability Building Community strives to provide services for individuals with disabilities through community inclusion. Since 1956, we have offered vocational rehabilitation and production services in Southeastern Minnesota. Outside of Rochester area, we also facilities in Caledonia and La Crescent, Minnesota. Incorporated as a not-for-profit corporation governed by a volunteer board of directors, ABC is committed to continued excellence in service to those individuals and businesses utilizing our services.
What We Do
We work with adults between 18 and 65 who have acquired physical and or cognitive impairments as a result of traumatic brain injury, stroke, multiple sclerious, accident, or a variety of other conditions, are eligible for service. Individuals served are offered a variety of daily activities tailored to meet their specific needs, interests and schedules. All activities are designed to enhance the individuals served cognitive, social and communication skills. Program components include independent living skills support, cognitive and physical fitness, personal care and wellness, community integration, leisure, education, peer support, behavior management, communication and social skills training.
