What We Do
Our mission is to honor the sanctity of human life by assisting clients in life affirming decisions with the love and compassion of Christ.New Page 2
New Life Family Services is a 501 (c)(3), nonprofit organization founded in the state of Minnesota in 1973. New Life Family Services was established to operate group homes for troubled youth.
By 1978 the leaders of our organization clearly saw a growing need to help individual women through crisis pregnancy situations. As a result, our organization founded the second crisis pregnancy center of its kind in the nation.
In 1982, New Life became a licensed adoption agency, and in 1987 an abstinence education program began. A dream of many New Life supporters, and possibly the most exciting addition of services, became a reality in 2000 when New Life became a licensed medical facility. This allowed us to provide additional services to our clients and it also increased our credibility in the community.
In 2001, the ARC (Abstinence Resource Center) was able to complete a curriculum which allowed us to bring the message of abstinence to more teenagers in local schools and youth groups.
In 2003, New Life became a member of the National Institute of Family and Life Advocates and Care Net, an international organization promoting standards of excellence for pregnancy care centers. Currently, New Life is the only Pregnancy Care Center and Licensed Adoption Agency in the country. New Life Family Services has four branch offices in the Twin Cities metro area and a fifth office in Rochester, Minnesota.
