Who We Are
The Rochester international Association has been involved in promoting diversity and intercultural education since its formation in 1982. Each year we organize and present World Festival, with its Parade of Nations, Cultural Displays, Ethnic Food Tasting, Children's Activities, Cultural Music and Dance and participatory activities.
In addition, we work with the Mayor's International Committee in running a Summer Picnic and a Thanksgiving Dinner. We are working with the Rochester Public library to present movies and documentaries reflecting cultural and global issues. We have collaborated with the Diversity Council, University of Minnesota Rochester and many other organizations to serve our own mission, and build a diverse and culturally aware community.
Our key objective is maintain our place as one of the leading organizations in Rochester, working in the field of intercultural education and exchange.
