Who We Are
Zumbro Valley Health Center serves a wide variety of persons in a wide variety of ways. A person is admitted to services if he or she requests services or is referred by someone else. If the person needs services not provided by ZVHC, they are referred to the appropriate provider. If the person needs service and is uninsured and not able to pay for services, they may qualify for a sliding fee arrangement if they are residents of Olmsted or Fillmore County. Zumbro Valley offers a full continuum of care including psychiatric services, outpatient mental health counseling, chemical health services including outpatient chemical health treatment and an alternative long-term outpatient CD treatment for adult individuals with chronic alcoholism or chemical dependency problems, detoxification services, Day Treatment services,Intensive Residential Services and Community Support Programs.

Our vision is:Zumbro Valley Mental Health Center will be the preferred provider of a unique and diverse spectrum of mental and chemical health services. We help people live and grow in their home communities Zumbro Valley Health Center's collaboration with Olmsted County began in 1949 when the Rochester-Olmsted County Counseling Clinic opened. The clinic was officially named Zumbro Valley Mental Health Center in 1966. Various programs and services have been added over the years to address community needs in Olmsted and Fillmore counties. In July 2007, Zumbro Valley Mental Health Center moved into their campus located at 343 Wood Lake Drive SE. Zumbro Valley Mental Health Center became Zumbro Valley Health Center when primary care and care coordination services were added to the continuum of care.
