Harvest Fest @ the Y

The Y is excited to announce that we have a brand new family friendly FREE event planned at the Rochester Area Family YMCA. Harvest Fest @ the Y will be replacing Spooktacular. At the beginning of 2016 the Rochester YMCA joined other YMCA’s across the county in adopting an initiative called HEPA, Healthy Eating Physical Activity. As an organization that is focused on Youth Development, Healthy Living and Social Responsibility we are incorporating the HEPA standards into all of our events and programs. Our vision for Harvest Fest @ the Y is an event that encourages families to spend time together playing and having fun. This event is open to the community, you do not need to be a Y member to attend. We are looking for groups or individuals who would be willing to join us in the Y’s backyard for Harvest Fest. We would like to have a variety of craft tables, nature games, apple bobbing, squash bowling, and any other fun, fall, outdoor games you can think up. If it’s raining we will move the event into the YMCA’s 3rd Floor Red & Blue gyms.
