Revolutionary Earth grow food in Rochester and delivers weekly produce boxes to low income, food insecure households in our city.
On Saturday mornings, we harvest, wash and package our boxes. This is a busy time and there is a variety of volunteer opportunities.
We do some basic gardening while we harvest our produce. We have several sites so this may include harvesting produce and transporting it to our central site.
Then we prep and wash the produce and pack the boxes.
We work outside so this is a good activity to do while social distancing.
