Description

Volunteers are the lifeblood of RideAbility, as you provide critical support that allows us to focus our limited financial resources on our core mission: providing a therapeutic and fun environment for individuals with special needs to ride and interact with horses. By donating your time and skills, you directly enable our programs to happen, from grooming the horses and mounting clients to leading horses for classes. In return for your service, you will gain a profound sense of purpose and a deeper connection to our community. You will acquire new skills in horsemanship, build valuable professional and social networks, and make some great friends along the way, all while boosting your self-confidence by helping others. The act of helping has also been shown to improve mental and physical health by reducing stress, making volunteering a deeply rewarding and mutually beneficial experience for you and the individuals you serve. This is more than just volunteering; it's a chance to change a life, including your own.
