For United Way Women's Leadership Council Members Only
Volunteer to be part of a fun event inspiring children’s reading and enjoyment of books. WLC members will help at Riverside Elementary's Ice Cream for Books Night on Thursday, April 14th, 6:00-7:30 pm. Typically, 200 families attend this popular school sponsored event.
WLC members will help with the following activities:
Meet and Greet:
Meet families as they arrive and hand out tickets and programs
Ice cream Sandwiches:
Take tickets and hand out ice cream sandwiches
Treasure Alley Book Emporium:
Run the Emporium. Students trade their tickets for a new or gently used book.
