We are currently soliciting volunteer(s) to assist with planning and preparation for our annual LEAD Mentorship Program Graduate Recognition Banquet. The banquet celebrates high school seniors who have successfully completed their participation as mentors of elementary & middle school students, through the LEAD program.
This year's banquet will be held on Wednesday, May 6th, 2015.
Currently the volunteer's role would be to assist in the following areas:
Pre-Banquet Planning & Prep
- On-going communication with Venue (Mayo Civic Center)
- Coordinating Catering (i.e. selecting menu, etc...)
- Sending out invitations (to schools, community leaders, parents, etc...)
- Creating the banquet program
- Decorations (Color theme)
- Audio/Video Presentation
- Securing Cake
- Photo booth (Photography)
- Number count of anticipated attendees
Day-of-Banquet
- Greeters
- Set-up & Clean up
- Logistics
