Brighter Tomorrows supports families who are walking the childhood cancer journey. Our monthly family gatherings include a meal for families, activities for children, and a sharing time for parents.
Position Description: The program facilitator is responsible for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for Brighter Tomorrows families, knowing which families to expect at the event, and facilitating a time of sharing between Brighter Tomorrows parents.
Job Duties:
- greet families as they arrive to the event
- facilitate sharing time
- disburse family care kits to new families as needed
- collect information from new attendees at the event
Minimum Qualifications:
- Demonstrated commitment to the mission of Brighter Tomorrows to support, listen to and encourage families who have been touched by childhood cancer
- Experience and training leading support groups
- Experience with a childhood cancer diagnosis preferred
