Volunteer: Neighbors Helping Neighbors

You can help make a difference in the life of a senior in need! Family Service Rochester is a non-profit organization providing seniors with assistance such as transportation, friendly visits, light housekeeping, yard work and repairs by connecting volunteers with those that need help.

Volunteers set their own schedule and decide what days and how many hours they can help.

Application Process

We ask volunteers to complete a 3-step application process that includes a background check, watching a short orientation video, and signing a confidentiality/privacy policy statement. Once these three steps are complete you are ready to be matched and to start volunteering!

If you would like more information please contact one of our Senior Independence Team Members at 507-287-2010 or volunteers@familyservicerochester.org

Thank you!
