The Salvation Army Dental Clinic is looking for dentists and hygienists in the Rochester area that are willing to join us once a month to provide tooth extractions for low-income people experiencing dental pain. 

Clinics and shifts vary by day and number of patients to be seen. Volunteers can expect each clinic they volunteer to last approximately three hours. 

Dental assistants can also earn 10 CEU credits through volunteer time at the dental clinic.

The opening of the Day Center at The Salvation Army coincides with the opening of a resource room for those in need of clothing, shoes, underwear, socks, and hygiene supplies. We are seeking volunteers willing to help us sort and organize donations to this space as they come in during the day. 

Hours are flexible. Our social services center is open from 8am-4pm Monday-Friday. 

The Salvation Army Store in Red Wing, MN, is looking for volunteers to assist with accepting and sorting donated items, and keeping the sales floor clean and organized. The store is open from 10am-5pm Monday-Saturday.

We are looking for volunteers to help us to restock our food shelf shelves with food items for families to select. Volunteers are needed on Mondays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays.

This volunteer opportunity is crucial to the success of our social services center here in Rochester, MN. Volunteers help clients to navigate basic questions about salvation army services, and help our front desk staff with tasks like laundry and transferring phone calls. 

Our social services center is open from 8am-4pm Monday-Friday. Hours for this volunteer need are flexible. All training is provided on site.

The Salvation Army partners with Hy-Vee Crossroads to provide a free Bread Shelf in our community center so that no one who comes to The Salvation Army ever leaves hungry. 

We are looking for several volunteers willing to pick up bread, and deliver the bread to our community center before we open at 8am On Mondays and Fridays each week. 

Pick up from each location takes an average of 45 minutes. Volunteers are welcome to use Salvation Army vehicles to complete this task.
