Friends of Whitewater State Park

Friends Members are volunteers who love Whitewater State Park.  We help make maple syrup, control invasive species, manage the butterfly garden, raise funds for special events, and MUCH more! We operate under the fiscal sponsorship of the Parks and Trails Council of Minnesota, a registered 501c3 non-profit organization.

The purpose of the Friends of Whitewater is education, fundraising, and other activities to advance the park management goals.  Our efforts help sustain the park’s ecology, natural beauty and cultural history.
