Who We Are

A Breath of Hope Lung Foundation was founded in 2008 in the Twin Cities by a group of lung cancer patients who were concerned about the lack of awareness and research funding for lung cancer, the deadliest of all cancers. Currently, only 32% of those diagnosed will live five years following their diagnosis, and 60% of those diagnosed are nonsmokers. To raise awareness about lung cancer is to create a path toward improved wellness, earlier detection, and an increased survival rate.

What We Do

A Breath of Hope Lung Foundation holds events to raise awareness and help fund research focused on creating more survivors in our country. We also host programs that provide rides and companionship to those who face cancer without the support they need.
