Who We Are
AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP is America's largest volunteer network for people 55 and over with more than 400,000 volunteers tackling tough issues in communities nationwide. It is operated under the direction of the Corporation for National and Community Service, a federal agency.
In 20 counties of Southern MN, Active Aging Programs with Catholic Charities of Southern MN facilitates the AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP program. This work includes administering several health and wellness classes.
Our volunteers receive mileage reimbursement, supplemental liability insurance while volunteering, ongoing support and help in finding meaningful volunteer experiences. Support is also given by the agency volunteers choose to serve under.
