Rochester Public School Foundation

Who We Are

RPSF is a 501(c)(3) independent, nonprofit organization that provides vital grants and financial support to teachers, staff and students in the Rochester Public School District. Since it was founded in 1988, RPSF has distributed more than $500,000 in grants, funding a wide range of programs and services that otherwise might not have been possible. Envisioned future goals are to increase our mission's impact each year with more grant awards and to raise our grant budget limits. We also strive to increase participation on our Board of Directors and increase our event volunteer base.

What We Do

RPSF awards grants and scholarships to teachers, staff and students in the Rochester Public School District to fill educational gaps. We provide a unique pathway for Rochester citizens, businesses and teachers to work in collaboration to enhance public education for its most valuable resource -- our children. Through fundraising requests and events, such as BooFest, we raise money to supplement and grow our funding resources. We offer a biannual grant cycle in which educators can apply for funding and we award annual college scholarships to at-risk students.
