Volunteers are needed to help older adults in the Stewartville area with seasonal household chores. Spring chores often include: shrub trimming, cleaning out gutters, washing windows, yard work, etc. This is a great opportunity for individuals, families or groups. Spring chore day in Stewartville is Saturday, May 30th.
Neighbors Helping Neighbors (NHN), a program of Family Service Rochester, exists to help older adults remain living in their homes. We match volunteers with older adults in their neighborhood to provide a variety of services.
