Please join Minnesota Master Naturalists and Quarry Hill Nature Center in the nation’s largest annual volunteer effort for America’s Public Lands. This year, on September 26th, 2015, we would love for you to help us celebrate National Public Lands Day’s 22nd anniversary!
Service Project: We will be working to remove buckthorn to restore the oak savannah and possibly planting in the butterfly garden.
When: September 26th, 2015 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Where: 701 Silver Creek Road, Rochester, MN 55906
What to Bring: Please wear long pants and long sleeves in layers, closed toe shoes, sunscreen, bug spray, water bottle, and working gloves.
Who: All are welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult, be able to hike a mile, and be able to assist adults with activities.
Fees: This event is free! Participants who pre-register will be provided lunch and a t-shirt to thank you for your service!
