TRRJ is seeking passionate volunteers to help us expand our impact. We are currently looking for people who have the capacity to hold space for respectful dialogues to be trained and serve as Restorative Justice Facilitators. Mentors for youth are needed. There is also needs for members of our Finance Committee and those with technology skills relating to website, software for case management, and/or social media management. If you have skills in these areas and a desire to contribute to restorative and racial justice, we want to hear from you.
- Finance committee - budgeting, tracking of funds, goal setting
- Technology - programmatic software, website, social media
- Restorative Justice Facilitators- Compete a 16 hours training and 3 on the job training sessions. Then co-facilitate cases referred to TRRJ by schools, system partners and individuals.
- Mentor Youth- Youth clients referred to TRRJ often can benefit from a mentor to walk alongside them through the completion of the restorative process and sometimes beyond.
Facilitators generally take a case every one or two months, but are not required to take that many. It is based on the facilitator's availability.
