Purpose: Volunteers for The Reading Center fulfill an important role in helping forward our mission of serving the needs of individuals impacted by dyslexia. Volunteering for a necessary activity helps us to focus our financial resources on helping as many struggling readers as possible. Thank you for your commitment and service.
Position: This Special Project Volunteer will cut and laminate “word card decks” for use in student lessons. Each deck will take approximately two hours to complete. We are looking to prepare 40 decks. The work is repetitive and can be spread out in durations of time over several weeks/months. They report to our Office Manager, Gade Grinnell.
Time period: Year round
Requirements:
- Reliable.
- Enthusiasm for the mission of The Reading Center.
- Communicate with Reading Center staff as needed.
- Turn in your volunteer hours each month.
- Accept our sincere gratitude.
