Brighter Tomorrows supports families who are walking the childhood cancer journey. Our monthly family gatherings include a meal for families, activities for children, and a sharing time for parents.

 

Position Description: The meeting coordinator will be in charge of managing logistics for Brighter Tomorrows monthly family gatherings to ensure the facility is prepared for families and the meal team is equipped to serve.

 

Job Duties:

  • Coordinate with meal team to determine their needs for set-up
  • Send invitation and collect RSVPs from families preceding the event and share with group facilitator
  • Welcome meal team and ensure they are equipped to serve on the day-of the event
  • Coordinate with any in-kind donors who are contributing supplies or gifts for families
  • Communicate arrival time with set-up volunteers
  • Oversee set up and clean up to ensure the facility is set to receive families and then cleaned up appropriately
