You will make phone calls to parents or guardians of 3-year-old children, reminding them to have their child on the Rochester Public School Census for receiving early childhood resources. Many of these families are currently enrolled in the Imagination Library program.
The results for families include:
- Students who are on the census get access to early childhood resources.
- Parents are reminded of the screening program for their child in preparation for starting kindergarten.
- Children, when screened, are better prepared for school.
Volunteer will help make phone calls between the hours of 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm at United Way.
