Everyone can do something good, be it large or small, to improve the lives of others. Celebrate Good Deeds Day by sharing a book and a kind note in a Little Free Library near you! You’ll be joining a global day of doing good that unites the people from more than 100 countries in doing good deeds.
It’s easy to participate:
- Register here.
- Find a Little Free Library near you.
- Choose a book to put in the Little Free Library.
- Write a kind note to the future reader and put it inside the book.
- Leave the book in the Little Free Library on April 14 and take a photo.
- After you’re done, tell us how it went and share your pictures.
This is a great activity for families and friends to do together.
Impact: Expand book access in your community while joining 4,300,000 volunteers in 110 countries doing good.

If you are volunteering with youth under the age of 18, a parent/guardian will need to complete a waiver for youth volunteers.
